Less than an hour from Derby, St Helens offers a different riding experience - fast, open coastal flow with ocean views and a purpose-built network that complements Derby’s terrain beautifully
George Town
One of Tassie’s newest MTB destinations, George Town offers (vehicle) lift-access riding with evolving trail offerings. We run regular Derby to George Town shuttle days, so your crew can easily make a full-day mission north.
Maydena Bike Park
Set in lush temperate rainforest, Maydena is Australia’s largest gravity-focused mountain bike park. With a huge vertical drop and trails ranging from beginner flow to expert tech, it’s a dream destination for riders who love long descents and progressive features. Daily shuttles and a well-equipped base village make it easy to spend a full day (or several) on the hill.
Queenstown MTB Trails
Out on Tasmania’s wild west coast, Queenstown offers a raw and untamed riding experience. Built into a dramatic lunar-like landscape, the trails here are steep, technical and thrillingly exposed. With shuttles available and more trails in development, it’s fast becoming a must-ride destination for adventurous riders.
