Whether they’re just starting out or already shredding trails, our kids’ mountain bikes for hire in Derby are dialled for safety, comfort and fun. Choose from a wide range of sizes and setups to suit all ages and skill levels. Every hire includes a helmet, and all bikes are maintained daily by our in-house mechanics. Perfect for family rides on the Blue Derby MTB network.
What’s included in your Bike Hire:
All of our mountain bike hires come ready to ride, with a free open-face helmet included (and the option to upgrade to a full-face for added protection). Bikes are fitted with flat pedals as standard, though clipless options are available upon request. Each one is tuned daily by our local mechanics, ensuring your setup is dialled in for the terrain ahead.
For kids/families we also have Balance Bikes and Shotgun Seats available for hire. Simply add to your hire at time of booking.
You can choose between a half-day session (8:00am–12:00pm or 12:30pm–4:30pm) or enjoy a full-day hire to make the most of the Derby trail network.
Bike Damage Insurance:
For added peace of mind for an additional $30 per bike per day, we provide comprehensive damage insurance. Please select from our extras list when completing your booking. Our damage insurance option protects you against any accidental damage that may occur during your rental period. With this insurance in place, you can fully enjoy your biking experience without worrying about potential costs or repairs.
